MEET OUR DIRECTOR OF MISSIONS

               JOE ARNOLD

Bro. Joe Arnold is our Director of Mission at Bayou Baptist Association.  Bro. Joe began serving Bayou Baptist Association on June 1, 2006. During Bro. Joe’s time as Director of Missions the Association office has moved from its prior location at 440 Magnolia Street in Houma to its present location at 4494 West Main Street in Gray.

Bro. Joe is a graduate of Louisiana College with a B.A. in Religion and Speech Education and a 1979 graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. Prior to coming to Bayou Baptist Association as Director of Missions Bro. Joe served 33 years in the Pastorate of Southern Baptist Churches in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Bro. Joe is married to Lois, and they have 3 grown children, 2 boys and 1 girl, and 7 grandchildren.

Stella and David Thibodeaux serve Bayou Baptist Association as co-Administrative Assistants. Dave has served on Staff as Minister of Music and Financial Secretary at two Bayou Baptist churches for more than 25 years. Stella has served as a volunteer Children's Minister at 3 Bayou Baptist churches for more than 25 years. She has served as Administrative Assistant for Bayou Baptist since May of 2013. Stella and Dave have 8 children, 36 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
