Transplant NeedSubmitted by: Pastor Randy Bourgeois | Many know me from the many years I pastored churches in Louisiana. In 2012 I retired from pastoring FBC Raceland. I was born with a very rare disease called Primary Hyperoxaluria Type II. After a lifetime of near 50 kidney stones, in November 2021, I had to start dialysis. Presently on PD dialysis 7 days a week, 10 hr sessions. My prayer request is for a kidney transplant. I have been on the transplant list at OCHSNER for a year and a half now. Perhaps if the Lord would even put it on someone’s heart to be a live donor. My health declines daily without a functioning kidney. Thanks for hearing my request.
